Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Expect on a Sunday at The Higher Place?

Our Sunday services and prayer meetings are the heartbeat of all that God does in us throughout the week. We gather on Sundays to deepen friendships and meet with God, and on Fridays to pray together as a Church. We welcome people from all walks of life - you’ll find people of every age (we are multi-generational) and race (we are multi-ethnic) in our meetings – most of them passionate about following Jesus, but many simply wanting to hear a little more. Come just as you are – there’s no dress code. We guarantee you a warm welcome, great refreshments, practical and passionate teaching from the Bible and an opportunity to meet with God for yourself.

We want to make sure that kids and young people are well served on Sundays, so we have a brilliant team who lead their dedicated activities in a beautiful environment.

Our Sunday experience starts from 11:00am at Lower Deck, Dreadnought Building, Greenwich Students' Union, 30 Park Row, Greenwich, London SE10 9HX and is typically between 75-90 minutes. If you want any help in planning your visit, please just get in touchwe’d be pleased to help you out!

The Marriage and Pre-Marriage Course is designed for couples and those preparing for marriage; we typically run these twice a year based on interest. We also run various initiatives serving young people, men, and women. Additionally, we host Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings, and outreach programs.
